Request a herb

If a herb appears in the Donguibogam but is not yet on DonguiHub, tell us. We look for it in the original text and, if it is there, add it after verification. If it is not in the text, we will tell you so.

How we handle requests

1. Received — tell us the herb name (Korean, Hanja or English).
2. Check the text — we search the Tangaek-pyeon for the name and its alternate names.
3. Verify and add — entries are checked against the original text before publication. Herbs with recorded toxicity get a separate review.
4. Reply — if you leave an email, we will let you know the result.
